I had hopes for this appliance, but it doesn't do a good job. Still small amount of air left after it seals.

Easy to use, and store food, happy with purchase..

Bought this product to split up dry and wet foods into single serves and vacuum bag them to stop losing good food to freezer burn and icing. So glad I did, this machine is great. I can quickly and easily seperate and individually bag steaks, fish cutlets, and left overs. Even juicy foods are no problem, just add some kitchen towel and seal away. I also use it to bag up/waterproof dry foods and gear for camping trips. Replacement bags are easy to find and cheap online - ebay etc, but try to get bags with the 'cut lines' marked on them or use a paper cutter - easier to line up when vacuuming or sealing! The only down side is, as noted in reviews I read, this puppy is quite noisy.
