Just unboxing and did not have hdmi cable foe earc, but comes with optical cable. My Samsung TV did not have digital output, but why would use it when the earc had more options and thinking better quality sound capabilities. Please correct me if I am wrong. If I am right, what speed does the hdmi cable need to be?

I got the Samsung HW-B650 soundbar as part of a bundle when I purchased a new Samsung TV, and it ended up being a really nice surprise. I wasn’t expecting much since it came with the TV, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is noticeably better than built-in TV speakers—dialogue is clearer, and the overall audio has much more depth. The 3.1 channel setup gives a fuller sound, and the DTS Virtual:X feature adds a sense of surround, which works surprisingly well in a small room. It’s not true surround sound, of course, but it still feels more immersive than I expected. The bass boost is where this soundbar really shines. The subwoofer delivers solid, punchy bass that makes action scenes and music feel way more alive without being too boomy. It makes a huge difference whether you're watching movies or listening to Spotify. Setup was quick and easy—just a few cables, and it synced with my TV immediately. I also appreciate that I can use my TV remote to control the volume, which keeps things simple. My only complaints are minor. The remote that comes with the soundbar feels a little cheap, and while the surround effect is decent, it’s not quite as enveloping as a full speaker setup. Still, for something that came bundled with the TV, it’s a fantastic value and performs way better than expected.

Really excellent soundbar for the money. Easy setup. Vocals are extremely clear.
