    SC9S sound bar
SC9S is very good. But I feel cheated as I am not able to get compatible surround speakers. You should have told me that the possibility of getting surround speakers is nil.

LG SC9S Soundbar Review (with LG C4 OLED)
LG SC9S Soundbar Review (with LG C4 OLED) After using the LG SC9S for a few days with my LG C4 OLED, I can confidently say this is a great soundbar — but only when set up correctly. My experience was a bit of a rollercoaster, so here’s an honest and practical review. ⸻ Overall Rating: 4.5 / 5 ⸻ Pros 1. Excellent Sound Quality (after proper setup) • Clear and crisp dialogue • Strong, controlled bass • Good Dolby Atmos effect for this range 2. Subwoofer Performance • Wireless and easy to place • Deep and punchy bass • Noticeable during action scenes 3. Great for OTT Content • Works very well with Netflix, Prime Video, etc. • Atmos content feels immersive and cinematic 4. Perfect Match with LG TVs • Designed for LG OLED TVs like the LG C4 • Clean, integrated look with the WOW bracket 5. Easy Connectivity • HDMI eARC works seamlessly • Can be controlled with TV remote ⸻ Cons 1. WOW Orchestra Can Ruin the Experience • When ON, it reduces volume, bass, and clarity • Makes the sound feel flat and underwhelming • Initially made the system feel defective Turning it OFF completely fixes the issue. ⸻ 2. Default Tuning is Conservative • Out-of-box sound feels slightly low • Needs manual tuning to perform well 3. Limited Expandability • Compatible rear speakers are discontinued • No easy path to full surround 4. Music Playback Feels Quieter • Apple Music and stereo content sound lower than movies ⸻ Key Tip Turn OFF WOW Orchestra and use HDMI (ARC/eARC) Device only. This is the most important setting. Without it, the sound feels average. With it, the soundbar performs as expected. ⸻ Final Verdict The LG SC9S is a very good soundbar for LG TV users who want clean aesthetics, strong bass, and a cinematic experience. It is not perfect out of the box, but once configured properly, it delivers a premium home theatre experience and is definitely worth it.
