This is a great little boom box. My grand mothers old machine died and because I know of Philips reputation bought this one. The sound is amazing for the size of the machine. Highly recommended.

No where dies it say on the description or the box: No AM, and Does not read MP3 - useless piece of equipment Had to throw it in the bin…..

I chose Philips because it’s a good brand but this unit was very disappointing. The overall look and feel of it was cheap and flimsy. I returned the unit after a couple of uses as it stopped reading cds, showing ‘err’ on the display.
