This is an awesome piece of equipment to have in any kitchen. It's a dream to use & clean-up afterwards BUT... The older model had a 'Keep Warm' - it now has an 'Auto' , also it comes with a Stainless lid, I prefer the older see through glass lid, where you could look at your food without lifting the lid and having that precious heat escape. Perhaps the stainless lid has superior thermal properties.. I don't know? Still a great product.... and cleaning is a BREEZE!

I would love this slow cooker- EXCEPT- the nonstick coating on the insert bubbles and peels off with regular use as instructed (not ever used on a high setting). I'm so disappointed because I only bought this to replace my expensive All Clad slow cooker whose nonstick insert did the exact same thing. I ho early thought I would have a better experience with such a reputable brand.

Great slow cooker BUT the insert has a few spots that have come off and I feel this is a production issue. I only use non scratch implements and for this to happen after 3 occasions of use is not what I expect of Breville.
