Every day, thousands of Australians visit appliancesonline.com.au with the same mission: to quickly find the right appliance. Whether a defrosting freezer emergency or a TV upgrade in time for the big match, they browse, compare, add to cart, schedule their fast and free delivery, and get on with their day. Easy.
But recently, one of those everyday orders pushed us past a milestone we're incredibly proud of: three million unique customers since we launched back in 2005. That's three million Australian households who've trusted us with everything from washing machine replacements to complete kitchen and laundry upgrades.
To put that number in perspective, it's enough people to fill the MCG 30 times over. If all three million customers stood fingertip to fingertip, they'd stretch from our Sydney distribution centre all the way to our Perth one - and beyond!
Behind that big number, though, are three million individual stories. Three million moments when someone needed a solution - fast. A fridge that died right before a birthday party. A dishwasher that threw in the towel with Christmas just around the corner. Or, in the case of customer three million, a clothes dryer that was all puffed out.

What started with Appliances Online's founder John Winning personally delivering our very first order in a single rented truck has grown into something we're seriously proud of: 95% of Australians now live within our free delivery area, with next day delivery available for orders placed as late as midnight. We stock over 11,000 products from 150+ brands, and when we deliver one of them, we take your old appliance away for free recycling, along with the packaging from the new one. And yes, we still answer the phone at 3am, if that's when you need help choosing the right oven or new TV.
