Peter Harris - General Manager

Peter comes from a background in the wine game. He worked in sales for two major Australian wineries, before moving into the appliances field in 2005. Drawing on his food and beverage expertise, he focused originally on cooking products (BBQs, stove tops, etc.), then eventually expanded into 'wet products' (dishwashers, washers, etc.).

Peter joined the Appliances Online team in 2005 where his role - and his passion - is to deliver customers the best service online shopping experience in Australia.

Like CEO, John Winning, Peter also lives a highly energetic double-life. He has played Rugby in Ireland and for East's Rugby Club, he was an 18 foot Skiff State Champion, and he's completed three Sydney to Hobart Yacht races.

Not surprisingly, he retains a great passion for wine, and is always more than happy to discuss the relative merits of a great red - preferably with a practical demonstration. (Purely a professional interest, of course!)
