Please read these trading terms and conditions carefully as they set out the terms under which Appliances Online trades.

Prices

The prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out on the web site. All prices are inclusive of GST. The price of the item(s) does not include the delivery charge. Prices can change and our latest price is always displayed on our website www.appliancesonline.com.au Third party websites may not always list our current prices.

Availability

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Delivery

Delivery will be made to the address specified by you. Please note that our standard delivery of products is within Australia. Deliveries may be made to you by our contracted delivery drivers, our contracted courier company or directly by the manufacturer. The delivery method will be organised by Appliances Online. We do our best to deliver to you on your requested delivery date and will contact you as soon as possible if this cannot be done. If you request multiple delivery dates for an order you will be charged a delivery fee each time. If for any reason we cannot deliver your full order at the same time you will not be charged for additional deliveries. If you wish to change the delivery date then please give us no less than 48 hours notice prior to delivery. If you are not at home for a requested delivery then we reserve the right to charge you $50 again to redeliver your order. To receive next working day delivery the product(s) must be in stock and the order placed by 2.30pm (Sydney time). You also need to be in our next day delivery area.


Please note all deliveries will need to be signed for. If the delivery is on an Appliances Online truck our drivers will need to sight photo ID (this can be a representative of the person who has placed the order).


Free Connection

In Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, The Gold Coast, Canberra, Geelong, Newcastle and Wollongong we offer free connection for refrigeration and laundry appliances (excluding washing machine pedestals). We also offer this service in Adelaide for Dishlex, Electrolux, Maytag, Simpson, Westinghouse and Whirlpool products.


Connection can be carried out to an existing standard domestic appliance situated within one metre of a water connection and within reach of an existing 10 amp socket for the appliance's lead. Included in the connection will be the removal of transit brackets.
The delivery team will be unable to connect your new appliance if:
- The old machine is not disconnected
- Any electrical/plumbing supplies needed fail the delivery team's testing or are considered unsuitable.
- Any water supply needed cannot be isolated or is unsuitable.
- Any drainage/waste facilities needed are unsuitable.
- Mechanical adjustments are required to the appliance(s) to overcome such things as water pressure problems.
- Alterations to existing plumbing and electrical connections are required.
All gas installations, connections and/or disconnections must be performed by a licensed plumber.

Connection & Installation

We offer a dishwasher connection service in some areas. If you are in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane metro areas as well as Newcastle and surrounding suburbs only you can purchase this service for an additional $170* when you buy your dishwasher. Connection will be carried out by a trained, licensed and fully insured tradesman. Connection will take place at the time of delivery.

We offer a dryer installation service in some areas. If you are in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane metro areas as well as Newcastle and surrounding suburbs only you can purchase this service for an additional $130* when you buy your dryer. Installation will be carried out by a trained, licensed and fully insured installer. Installation will take place at the time of delivery.

We offer an electrical stove, oven and cooktop connection service in some areas. If you are in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth metro areas only you can purchase these services for an additional $230* per item when you buy your electrical stove, oven or cooktop. These connections are carried out by a trained, licensed and fully insured electrician. Connection will take place at the time of delivery.

We offer a gas stove and oven connection service in some areas. If you are in our Sydney and Perth metro areas you can purchase these services for an additional $260* when you buy your gas stove or oven. These connections are carried out by a trained, licensed and fully insured plumber. Connection will take place at the time of delivery.

We offer a gas cooktop connection service in some areas. If you are in our Sydney and Perth metro areas you can purchase these services for an additional $240* when you buy your gas cooktop. These connections are carried out by a trained, licensed and fully insured plumber. Connection will take place at the time of delivery.

We offer rangehood connection services in some areas. If you are in our Sydney and Perth metro areas you can purchase these services for the following prices:

Fixed rangehoods - an additional $140* when you buy your fixed rangehood.

Slide out and under cupboard rangehoods - an additional $190* when you buy your slide out or under cupboard rangehood.

Canopy rangehoods - an additional $390* when you buy your canopy rangehood.

These connections are carried out by a trained, licensed and fully insured tradesman. Connection will take place at the time of delivery.

We offer a split system air conditioner installation service in some areas. If you are in Sydney and Melbourne metro areas only you can purchase this service for an additional $520* (up to 3kW), $580* (3kW to 7kW) or $620* (7.1kW to 8.5kW) when you buy your split system air conditioner. If you are in our Perth delivery zone you can purchase this service for an additional $628 (small split system), $695 (medium split system), $782 (large split system), $638 (small boxed window unit) and $695 (large boxed window unit). Installation will be carried out at the time of delivery by a trained, licensed and fully insured installer.

We offer a ZIP boiling and chilled filtered taps installation service in some areas. If you are in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Newcastle, Canberra or the Gold Coast metropolitan areas you can purchase this service for an additional $405* (inc cutting of 35mm hole in stone), $515* (All-In-One taps) or $515* (inc. cutting of font in stone) when you buy your ZIP tap. These installations are carried out by a trained, licensed and fully insured installer. Installation will take place at the time of delivery.

*This price is for regular connections and installations only. For all connections and installations we are not able to carry out any cabinetry work. Where additional parts & labour are necessary further charges may apply.

Disposal / Removal

In Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Canberra, Geelong, Newcastle and Wollongong you can request that our delivery team dispose of your old appliance for free. Old appliances being removed are to be like or similar to the new delivered appliance. This must be done at the delivery location of your order. We can also offer this free service in Adelaide for Dishlex, Electrolux, Maytag, Simpson and Westinghouse products.


All goods for removal and disposal must be disconnected from all water, electrical and gas supplies in advance of the goods being removed.
Removed goods are deemed to have zero value.
All gas disconnections must be performed by a licensed plumber.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order we ask that you advise us at least 1 business day before your planned delivery date and you will receive a full refund. All cancellations must be processed via Appliances Online.


Returns

If your goods are deemed faulty following confirmation by the manufacturer you may replace them free of charge by calling 1300 000 500.

If you notice any damage to your goods please notify our delivery team at the time of delivery. We recommend you thoroughly inspect your goods at this time. If you notice any damage to your goods within 24 hours of receiving delivery please notify Appliances Online immediately. Evidence of damage will be required i.e. photographs.

If for any other reason you need to return an item please call the Appliances Online customer help line on 1300 000 500 within 5 business days of receiving delivery.

If your goods remain boxed and unopen you may return them within 30 days for a full refund. A collection fee of $50 or the amount of your delivery fee if it was greater than $50 will apply.

If your goods have been unboxed but otherwise are as new (have not been used or connected) a 20% restocking fee (20% of your purchase price) will apply. Appliances Online does not deal with factory seconds, damaged or open goods and charges restocking fees to cover return costs. A collection fee of $50 or the amount of your delivery fee if it was greater than $50 will apply.

Please note, if you have requested connection of your goods Appliances Online will unbox the product for you at the time of delivery. Also, we recommend you inspect your new goods thoroughly at the time of delivery.

We will organise for your return goods to be collected. Goods are usually collected within 3 days.

You as the customer have a duty of care for the product whilst it is in your possession. If products are damaged by you and subsequently returned, a charge will be made to repair the product to its original condition. Please be aware that where repair is not economically viable no refund will be made.

All refunds will be issued when goods have arrived back to an Appliances Online warehouse and have been inspected by a member of our team. Refunds will be made by the same method used for the purchase.

We are unable to accept return of any goods that you have attempted to install or have used.

Agency Brands

Appliances Online sells products from Asko, St George, GE and Hoover under agency agreements. Prices for these products are set by the above manufacturers and cannot be adjusted by Appliances Online. Appliances Online will receive payment for any agency products bought by you on behalf of the manufacturer and your invoice for these products will come directly from them. Delivery of most agency products will be by the manufacturer.

Payment

You can pay with any Visa, Mastercard or American Express card. You may pay via Cash On Delivery using cash, bank cheque or credit within our Greater Sydney and Newcastle, Greater Brisbane and The Gold Coast as well as Greater Melbourne and Greater Perth delivery areas. Your payment card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment is given at the time of order. You will be charged for items at point of order. Our liability to you in respect of an order shall be limited to the value of that order. We shall not be liable to you for any economic loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, wasted expenditure or depletion of goodwill as a result of our negligence which arise out of or in connection with an order.

Product Information

Appliances Online makes every effort to ensure all prices and product information is up to date and correct at the time of display. However, we take no responsibility for any incorrect information that may appear and reserve the right to refuse any order which may contain mistakes. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that product information is correct when purchasing any new appliance.

Commercial / Business Purchase

Products sold are sold under the terms and conditions set out by the manufacturer. Products sold to businesses large or small do not have the same warranty as those for domestic customers and in many cases the Manufacturer Warranty is void if the product is used in any commercial application. In some cases, the warranty is limited to 90 days and in many product categories it is nil. Appliances Online offers a Three Year Business Warranty for all business customers.
