Our Business Extended Warranty Plan
Bonus Product Sales
All products sold must carry full Manufactures Warranty (minimum 12 months) to be
eligible for the Extended Warranty coverage. The Business Extended Warranty Plans
do not normally cover any bonus products supplied by the manufactures “for free”.
However, in cases where the customer purchase a pack where a bonus appliance has
been included “for free” and wants both products covered by extended warranty plans,
the following example applies:
A colour television is sold with a bonus DVD player (included by the manufacturer).
The sale price of this pack is $500. if the customer opts to purchase two warranties
to cover both products, the sale price of $500 must be split so each product has
got a value (with total value of both products being $500, as this is what the customer
paid). For instance, TV would get valued at $350 and the DVD player at $150. The
customer must be made aware that these are the values we would use as maximum amounts
payable for repairs (and replacements if becomes applicable).
Period of Cover
The period of cover of the Business Extended Warranty Plan will automatically commence
at the expiration of the Manufacturer's Warranty for the customer's goods. Please
inform the customer to contact the manufacturer with any enquiries during the Manufacturer's
Warranty period.
The maximum period of cover depends on the Business Extended Warranty Plan purchased:
- Business Extended Warranty codes with prefix BUS2Y provide cover for two (2) years
in total including any manufacturer's Warranty Period
- Business Extended Warranty codes with prefix BUS3Y provide cover for three (3)
years in total including any Manufacturer's Warranty period
Exclusions
- Any accessories not included in the packaging with the original goods, ie speakers
on their own, headphones etc are not covered
