This SELF-DETECT technology is made possible with wireless connectivity. The blender detects the container you’re using and adjusts its power accordingly, so you’re only using the power required for the recipe.

The blender even switches off automatically once the program has run its course.
    SELF-DETECT technology

    With multiple sizes of Vitamix containers available, it can be tough to decide which one is best suited to the task at hand. Using Bluetooth wireless connectivity, the Ascent blender calibrates blending time and performance based on the container you are using. Additionally, interlock technology means the blender won’t start if the lid or container is not fastened correctly.

    Only good for large volume blending
    I am very disappointed with the ability for this Vitamix to make small batches. It is useless in making single serving meals, like smoothies. The blender probably works great but I wish Vitamix was more up front about not being able to use this model without the canister being significantly filled. I used to use a Vitamix with the tall canister of the same size no problem in making single serving smoothies. I understand a smaller canister can be purchased and may work for my needs but at such a high price point for the blender I expected it to fit my needs of small batches.

    Just LOVE this vitamix. I used the soup recipes from Tommy Raw Blends and can't believe I just put all the raw vegetables in and bingo ...piping hot creamy soup in 5 minutes. Yes a little noisy when starts but heh when you can drop whole carrots in the jug etc what would you expect and it is truly magical it spins so fast and is so powerful that it blends all the ingredients within a minute of two and the friction from the ridiculously fast moving blades actually heat and cook the ingredients ...all within 5 mins.....UNBELIEVABLE! I am about to do custard in it next ...worth every cent!!!+ Thanks appliances online for outstanding next day delivery from Sydney to South coast. Very happy customer.

    Powerful, Reliable, and Perfect for Smoothies
    I absolutely love my Vitamix blender! It’s incredibly powerful, effortlessly blending even the toughest ingredients. My favorite function is the smoothie setting, which I use daily for perfectly creamy results. The build quality is excellent, robust and durable, and it’s surprisingly easy to clean. The only downside is that it gets quite loud at the highest speed, but given its performance, it’s a small trade-off. Highly recommend for anyone serious about blending!
