I have tried to always buy OEM parts, but this filter is terrible. The flow rate is so low after just a few days use, it's unusable. And at this price, it should work flawlessly. I'm actually considering generic.

This was not easy to install it was difficult to remove the clips and the water tubing from both the old and new filters.

After seeing a few bad reviews about fitting the filter seems like a few having trouble, so here goes.. on installation of new filter you remove the clips red blue In many cases when you remove the clip then before you start tugging on the pipe push the grey collar down this releases the pipe so it pulls out with ease. To put the pipe back on the new filter simply push firmly back into the filter until it stops and replace the clip.
