Recently my Breville Infuser coffee maker stopped working, probably the pump. I rang Breville and after a lengthy and patient diagnosis of the problem they gave me the option of returning the machine for repair. Because the machine was 7 years old they also gave me the option of buying any coffee machine for a 40% discount. I decided to get another of the same model which arrived within a week.

We've had several Breville Cafe Roma machines which give 8-10 years of reliable service producing 3-4 lattes a day (somewhere in excess of 10,000 which seems awfully good). This time around, we decided to get the Infuser and so far love it. It took a few practice shots to find the best setting on our burr grinder and choosing the best portafilter before producing the first latte. The machine looks complicated—what with all the buttons, dials and gauges—but it's intuitive and actually very easy to use and I love the longer, adjustable steam wand and the hot water feature for an Americano.

I've owned this espresso machine for six years and continue to be happy with the results. I had to learn to use it properly and the results have been excellent.
