My First purchase ever..and it exceeded my expectations. Great for on the go and easy to use and easy to clean up. Perfect for two people drinks or single use. Great Product!!

I presently own a Vitamix Clasic C Series Blender and love it. I brought the S Series for a winter home based on my experience with the C Series and its compact size. What a disappointment. When using it on high speeds it vibrates so much it moves along the countertop. The cleanup it's not as easy as the C-Series. The container, the seal and blade have to be separated in order to clean. I notice an electrical burning odor when the motor is running on high for less than a minute. It does blend good. I would definitely buy another Vitamix, I just would not buy or recommend the S Series.

I thought I’d get this smaller Vitamix to take on camping trips in my tiny RV. But it just doesn’t have the power I’m used to so I returned it. Also, the unit was VERY used and scuffed up. I don’t know what the standards are at Vitamix regarding calling something reconditioned, but I think this unit was beaten and damaged, returned and rebuilt then resold as refurbished. I guess what I’m saying is: it was aesthetically too damaged for me and together with the lack of power made the experience of buying reconditioned a bad one.
