My son bought one of these - the larger model which we have had in the family for more than seven years, when I left to work abroad I decided to buy a different brand (purely for cost effectiveness) only to find that two machines later, I opted for the Vita Mix, secure in the knowledge that it will last me for at least seven years with the no quibble guarantee. It is efficient, easy to clean and the size means I can sit it comfortably on the kitchen counter without it taking up too much space. I use it mainly for smoothies every day and soups - I haven't tried the recipes yet but they look quite simple. Excellent product and worth the price.

I bought my S30 from the Vitamix website about two months ago. I love it. The size fits both my food prep needs and my small kitchen. I wanted a unit I could keep on my counter for ease of use and the S30 is that blender. It works fast and cleans easily. There are no down sides to this blender.

I bought my Vitamix about a month ago and I use it every day. Now that I have it, everyone one wants smoothies. It is a smaller size, perfect for one person or for making two smoothies, but it does not hold anymore than that. The reconditioned unit looks brand new and I have not had any problems with the motor. It is quite than the bigger size units. I love my S30 Vitamix!
