I have been incredibly dissatisfied with the low-profile pitcher, especially for having paid hundreds of dollars for the Propel 750 blender. The blender itself is fantastic & powerful, but the lid & pour spout are horrible & messy - even my husband has commented on it & he doesn't use it nearly as much as I do. Because the pour spout is squared off (vs. more rounded), it makes for a VERY messy pour, at least with a smoothie, which is all I currently use my Vitamix for. It's disappointing to spend so much money on an expensive kitchen appliance & the pour makes an absolute mess. Every. Single. Time. I've had much cheaper blenders & never experienced this problem before. I also don't like the lid, in general. It's good quality in terms of the actual material it's made of, but it's not easy to know if it's truly fastened on because of the "clip on" design. I once didn't realize this and had smoothie splatter everywhere because it wasn't completely pushed down, even though it "appeared" to be secure. Again, never had this issue with much cheaper blenders. Love the power of the Vitamix (I give that a 10/10), but their lid & containers definitely need improvement (2/10 at best)! For what it's worth, I do like the low-profile concept because it fits best in my cabinet (I don't keep the blender out on the counter), and based on some other reviews, I read that the low-profile version has the biggest problems with a messy pour. I might try the classic tall version, but given the high price tag, I'm not so sure I want to invest in another container if it will have the same issues. Sorry Vitamix, but this is a big miss & needs a total re-work!

I gave 1 star is because it’s plastic for such a prestige company should not have to make plastic but glass instead.

My wife was blending a smoothie until the container was pierced and sent flying sharp pieces of the plastic, I was nearby at eye level which could've hit me if I was closer enough, my wife got some minor scratches but this is very dangerous don't but a Vitamix, I won't ever again
