I have been using it for a year. Cooking for a family of 5. Firstly, I bought it to replace a gas cooktop. This was the only unit I could buy to fit the gap in the bench. I had an electrician install 32A circuit and hob switch for it. I then did the install in a few hrs. It is easy to use, clean and operate. It is amazing how quickly it can boil a pot of water relative to the gas cooktop. I estimate 3 times faster than gas. Spectacular. I had to buy new cookware to work with the Induction hob, so please consider that cost when switching over. Also, my advice is for your cookware to have a base nearly the same size as the induction coils for maximum cooking/efficiency. I find my large pot and large frypan are much larger than the induction coils in this hob, so heating is less consistent (my rookie mistake)
