I have other snack collection accessories & sandwich maker and they work well. The problem I encountered with these plates is the tiny Dutch pancakes would be cooked (brown) on the bottom while they remained white & of course less cooked on top. I think as the bottom parts are being filled (literally one teaspoon per indent with a squeeze bottle) that they start cooking before the lid gets closed. 1st batch I burnt the bottoms waiting for the tops to brown up. Next batches I just had white tops with lighter brown bottoms do they didn’t look great but the kids loved them with their maple syrup - I chose a recipe that used dry yeast and plain flour as finding fancy buckwheat flour I did not have in the pantry. With these plates like all my other ones do also leave your fingers a bit black with soot like substance that appears in the back of the plates after they have been washed & dried.
