Great TV so far.

Clear, colorful and bright even with low quality movie

Not to beat around the bush the picture quality of this TV is simply amazing. Many companies can make a decent panel, but Sony excel at producing the processors that make them shine. Yes you can buy a 50 inch for half the money but the image quality (not mention durability) of whatever will disappoint. Just compare the images in a a shop between brands. Take a bluray or some footage you are familiar with and you will see for yourself. Beyond the feature set and the apps etc etc that many tvs have a TV for me is about showing a beautiful image and this set wins hands down in this price range. The audio is acceptable, but like many flat screens would benefit from a soundbar or the compact and convenient Sony HT-XT1 soundplate which is what I went for. Be nice to your eyes....you'll only ever have the one pair!
