Purchased to complement our new Sony 4k screen. The very small footprint was a pleasant surprise but the apparent lack of a 'power on' beacon was a less pleasant one. Sharpness, contrast, colour rendition are all superb but I do not have the techie skills to know if this is due to the 4k TV, the BD player or both. No matter, we are delighted with the quality as seen on our screen. The 4k The Battle of Five Armies (Hobbit) is quite stunning! With an illuminated 'power on' beacon I would have given five stars instead of 4.9, rounded up to 5. Finally, we have always found Sony products to be very very reliable.

Great featured Bluray player with additional future proofing of 4k upscaling. Easy to use, straightforward link to internet via wi-fi to get smart functions working. First Bluray player I've had and picture and sound quality are superb.
