The KD43X85K Bravia arrived a fortnight ago. I'm happy enough with the picture quality; the sound is better than I expected; but the setup took hours and I still find the remote functions confusing. I wish I could simplify (reduce) the stuff on the screen without turning most of it off completely. I'd like to improve the richness of the colours and the skin tones but have already spent far too much time trying to get them right. Mostly happy - but not quite 100%. (Why is everything so complicated?)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First Smart TV - Very disappointed. The TV has issues and Google TV has issues, and between them wish I hadn't bothered since asking around, many have the same issues and no manufacturer seems to care about attending to them. Google TV text WAY TOO SMALL, and no ability to scale it up. Focus is on apps and streaming, whereas features around TV itself are deplorable. Sound is like speakers have been put in a tin rubbish bin, understand this is normal, so we're expected to buy a soundbar to make the audio acceptable. Led screen useless if viewed more than 20 degrees off centre, should have just bought a NON-SMART Philips 43 inch IPS panel and a Fetch TV box, would have been way better off. So much rubbish, so much marketing, such a con buying a smart TV of any manufacturer, and I could design a better user interface than is peddles by Google TV in my sleep (stated as an ex business applications developer), and the TV should have come with a useable sound system, not a requirement to buy a soundbar
