Bought our Amex in 2018 and now constantly sporadically rumbles ?

We have had quite a few issues with seals and leakage in short a short period of time. I love the look of it, however it is not the best quality fridge. Appliance Online were not helpful at all when I emailed them regarding our issues - despite the fact that I paid for an extended warranty/care through appliances online. Very disappointed. Super quick delivery and great install.

I bought my Smeg fridge in a rush, after my old fridge packed it in on an insanely hot day. I needed a new fridge pronto and didn't do any research into the model I purchased other than knowing the brand's reputation for quality (I have some Smeg small appliances I am very happy with) and that I had always wanted a Smeg fridge. So I splurged a little too hastily. This fridge is VERY tall, at least a foot taller than most other fridges with the same interior storage capacity. That's not an issue for me, as I am reasonably tall, but it would definitely be a problem for anyone under 5'6"! The storage design inside the fridge is not very practical. I had to remove one of the shelves just so I could store a milk carton standing upright and the storage shelves in the door are very narrow and don't fit most things you would normally store in a fridge door. The wine rack is nice, but takes up a lot of unecessary space. A better design would have ensured a shelf didn't need to be removed to fit a standing milk carton. The freezer drawers don't feel very sturdy and I always worry I have to be careful when opening them, even though I don't have that much stored in them. Also the suction of the fridge door to the fridge body around the seal is quite firm and sometimes when you open the door, it almost feels like you are going to tip the fridge over. The fridge itself looks nice inside and out, and if you are a single person or two person household, it will probably suffice, but it takes up a lot of space for the minimal storage offered. I have buyers remorse and wish I had done more research before rushing to buy this model. I definitely think I could have done much better for the price.
