Hardly used 5 months and the motherboard failed. Later wasted electricity and water without cleaning. Bought by builder and installed. Hope Builders provided deal with smeg is failed cases it seems mostly.

Really upsetting with this dishwasher which is installed in brand Newhouse. The cycle finishes without cleaning dishes, still it drains the water from down pipes inside and the heat generates continuously.we have to turn off the power switch to stop this. Usually I will turn my dishwasher before going to bed and with these kind of issues we may result to end up life’s. Just I was lucky due to light sleep person.Finished warranty of 2 years and came up with the issue. The Alantin services person is here to list out the repair cost as 799 + service charge 165, Which is of brand new product price.Please don’t sell these kind of products cheating people. I had really good impression on SMEG brand. With this experience I have to look for good brands.

This dishwasher was past of the package deal with the house builder. I have only had good experiences with it. Other than a door switch that I had to get replaced recently, this dishwasher has not missed a beat for the 6- 7 years we have had it. It cleans well and has stood up to some tough Christmas clean ups. I'm happy with it's preformance and would but Smeg again.
