Very happy with machine I only wished that my old machine had broken down earlier.

I’ve had this washing machine for just over a year and overall, I’m very pleased with it. It’s economical to run and washes the clothes well. My one disappointment is that I can no longer hand wash my woollens and spin the surplus water out. Some of the woollen jumpers are machine washable, but those that are not have reacted badly to the machine washing, resulting in several shrinkages. With my old Toploader, I could complete the hand washing of a garment and then spin the water out at the end. I used this method for years with no shrinkage in any of my woollen garments, and they would be dry in quarter of the time it takes for a hand squeezed garment to dry. Please, Siemens, address this disappointing aspect of your otherwise excellent machine.
