We cannot believe how fresh it keeps the fruit and veggies. We have had grapes in the fridge for two weeks and the stalks have dried up but the fruit is still fresh. The extra small shelves in the fridge and freezer come in really handy for small items.

Overall the fridge is good for the dimensions vs litres, although I'm a little disappointed in some basic needs. The shelves are not adjustable in any way which is limiting to start with, but you can't even fit a 3lt bottle of milk or a 1.25lt soft drink bottle due to the height of the lower shelf (which has the biggest clearance). I know you can put them on the door but its not a cold as inside on a shelf. The ice making unit is not fixed in a shelf which means when trying to use it it slides all over the place and spills water when refilling. The fridge door needs to be fully opened wide 180deg in order to open the crisper drawers. If buying online note the stainless steel colour is a lot darker than your average stainless steel appliance, like oven and dishwasher. We'll see how long it lasts. I'm hoping more than 5yrs like my previous fridge.

My husband has always wanted a refrigerator that had the ice/water connection in the door. A Friend showed us hers & we saw how much room the "gadget" took up in the freezer section, & decided to not go with it, but found the Samsung 655L had the similar looks & had so much more room in the freezer. We have had it for a couple of months now, and find it fantastic. the little ice maker is great & we have had a storage of ice for all our needs, with still masses of rooms to freeze all our food.
