Really poor quality. Black plastic ring broke very quickly, does not blend/mix whatever you are blending. A others have mentioned, you need to use a spoon to mix the contents so it can get to everything. Even at this price I would not recommend.

Only used it four times: Apples once, oranges twice, then meat. The first time I used it the motor sounded "crunchy" even though I was just blending water to clean it (as per manual) With apples and oranges, it didn't blend at first, it just pushed them into a ball at the top. I had to add water to make it actually blend everything. Bits get left at the bottom too, because there's about a 1 cm gap between blades and container bottom. When I tried to blend meat (after cutting into 1cm chunks) within 30 seconds the blender started smoking then died. Not all the meat was blended; it was pushed into a semi-blended ball at the top. And some was stuck at the bottom. The top is glass, seems durable and well designed. The base is poor. Weak engine, badly designed blades. Unless you just blend liquids, this blender seems almost useless.

used twice then motor burnt out during use, the toxic fumes contaminated the food in the blender
