I bought this Russell Hobbs hand blender (RHSM5BLK) from Farmers less than a month ago, expecting good quality for everyday kitchen tasks. Unfortunately, the internal plastic drive coupling/gear completely stripped and wore out after just a few uses while blending soft vegetables. The motor still turns, but because the plastic connecting piece melted/wore down, it no longer connects to the blending attachment at all. Very poor build quality and weak materials where it matters most. Disappointed that I didn't keep the receipt, as it broke way too quickly. I definitely would not recommend this product.

I don’t think much of this blender. I had faith in Russell Hobbs as it used be a good quality brand. My stick blender broke whilst blending bread crumbs from slice of bread.!!! The little piece of plastic in the middle of the lid of the container where the blender motor head fits in. The blender had little use and was hand washed when used. I was hoping to replace the lid but have been unable to obtain this piece. Useless.

We bought this hand blender literally a month ago and while I was using it stopped working and now it totally not worked. I specifically asked my husband for this brand because i thought its good but apparently not. the sad part is I dont have the receipt nor the box any more as I never thought i'll have this problem. Im sooo dissapointed!
