    We always purchase our whitegoods from Appliances Online. Their service people are very friendly and helpful. Delivery the following day, and they set up the device. We've ordered washing machines, dryers and TV. The delivery crew are great. While this kettle is a bit over priced, we're happy with it. The sleek design and it is so quiet when it boils. I've never known a quiet kettle. App Online is such an easy process from ordering to delivery. We had ordered from target/kmart but they didn't deliver the base to the cordless kettle. It took over a week for someone to get back to us and refund. We just wanted the base delivered. They're so ineffective and useless, we won't be ordering from them anymore. Rather pay a bit more and receive the item we ordered from App online. They're reliable. Thank you.

    NO PLASTIC!!!
    My second Brooklyn Kettle, a good, functional, attractive product. But the reason for the 5 stars was ....NO PLASTIC!!. Reusable paper bags.! I'm so impressed with this initiative that I sincerely hope you can persuade/advise other companies to just go ahead with a no-plastic packaging policy. Eg, I bought a stick vacuum last year, and it was all plastic and polystyrene packaging. Your practice clearly demonstrates it's very likely all that plastic can probably be replace with paper and cardboard. In my opinion, this is no minor, cosmetic change, but a hugely important and necessary step forward. Thank you. Lorraine, Hervey Bay

    Functional and fabulous... and really QUIET!
    Function and form with fabulous looks. This is a really attractive kettle. I love the look of the copper and black. So stylish. The last kettle I purchased claimed to be really quiet... which it was for exactly 2 boils. After that, it was just as loud as the previous kettle. Russell Hobbs make no claims about the Brooklyn kettle being quiet but it is! A couple of weeks in and it's just as quiet as it was at the beginning. The only concern I have is that the switch to turn it on to boil seems very lightweight/flimsy and I'm concerned it won't last. Seems out of keeping with the quality of the kettle. Perhaps this could be an upgrade to consider. All in all, I am absolutely chuffed with this kettle.
