Bought this for my 90 year old mother, unfortunately no warning that hot plates get very hot when oven in use and she burnt her palm badly on a hot plate. Oven temperature was set at 180 degrees which is a normal baking temperature. Hot plates should not get that hot if not turned on. Very disappointed, not up to standard of the one she’s had for last 15 years.

What good are hotplates that have no temperature control. Only good for booling water. Otherwise useless. Oven may work fine. Haven't tried it. What zero points for the hotplates.

This unit has been a major letdown. The biggest problem is that neither the hot plates nor the oven reach the temperatures shown on the thermostat. at most I can get just over 100°C — it consistently underperforms. The oven is very small; most standard dishes won’t fit, so you're stuck using tiny trays or improvising. What’s worse, you can’t use the oven and hot plates at the same time, which makes cooking a complete meal incredibly frustrating. Everything takes at least three times longer than it should. Overall, it’s poorly designed and not worth the hassle.
