    Wish I'd Bought One Sooner!
    I bought this Philips air fryer about a month ago and I haven't stopped using it! I've cooked chicken, lamb, sausages, fish, gnocchi, kebabs, etc., in it and they've turned our really well. It's much quicker than a conventional oven, it doesn't dry the food out and it uses a fraction of the oil. It has 2 drawers so I can cook 2 different things simultaneously but synch them to finish at the same time. The drawers are stacked vertically so it doesn't take up too much kitchen counter space. I would recommend it.

    Premium build quality but room for improvement
    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips 4000 Series Stacked Dual Basket Airfryer feels like a premium product. I had the original Philips Airfryer and thought it was brilliant; this model also feels solid and classier than my Ninja, which feels flimsy by comparison. In my experience, the Ninja’s non-stick coating is less effective and it gets dirty more easily. The Philips controls are clear and easy to use, and the viewing windows and interior light are excellent. Its compact footprint is useful, too. The stacked design is a compromise: it saves worktop width, but reduces usable height and flexibility. Although the stated capacity is 10 litres, I can fit more into my 9.4-litre Ninja. In my use, the Philips takes at least 30% longer to cook and reaches 200°C rather than the Ninja’s 240°C. That affects crispness, but temperature isn’t the whole story: nothing touches the chips from my original Philips Airfryer. Small chips and wedges can fall through the round holes in the inserts when shaking. There are also clear flaws. Water collects in the small holes underneath the drawer handles during washing, then poured onto the floor when I turned a dishwasher-safe drawer upright. The rear air holes leave very little clearance from the tray, so I’m careful with oily or greasy food. I use tongs rather than tipping the drawer and scooping chips onto a plate, which slows serving and lets the food cool. The shake reminder is useful, though its beep is oddly irritating in sync mode. The machine is noisier than my Ninja. Food-type presets are easy to use, but I’d prefer more flexibility to adjust time and temperature. It’s not suited to baking, dehydrating or saucy, one-pot-style meals. The build quality, clear controls and viewing features are excellent. I’m still interested in Philips and will look at less space-focused models, including air fryer and steam combinations, for more of the versatility I value.

    Great air fryer
    I brought the Phillips air fryer in September. We use it every day. It's nice that it has a light inside so you can see the food cooking. I love being able to cook food in different drawers for different timings. It's handy to have the drawers above each other & not side by side. It takes up less room. The air fryer is easy to clean after use. The display screen is easy to read & use. Can't fault it. Very happy with it.
