3 years cleaning up after kids and dogs and our Neato is still fabulous! We just love her!

I received my Neato as a gift from my mother. During the 3 and a half years I have had it, I have had numerous issues and had it replaced THREE TIMES! Customer service is EXCELLENT with this company--always willing to work with you and help you resolve issues, very polite and cheerful, etc but although my Neato worked beautifully for the first few months I had it, and each replacement did also, I am disappointed in the product. It now follows a path over and over in whichever area of the house it decides to do on any particular day. I have done all of the troubleshooting (AGAIN) and it STILL does a small path through a room and then goes into the hallway and right back to do that same path in the same room. I have a large dog and tiled rooms which I constantly have to sweep because the machine misses most of the dog hair. It stops in the middle of the room and beeps with the message "Please clear my path" on it's screen. Frequently, it will flash the same message while repeatedly bumping up against a wall or piece of furniture! Or it flashes "My vision is blocked" and when I clean the sensors (which I do a couple of times a week) it still says it. Usually I just carry it over to it's dock and call it a day. I recently purchased a new vacuum--something I have trouble operating due to a physical disability--and I am using it once or twice a week to compensate. That's a chore I thought I would never have to do again! After 3+ years, I don't think the company will replace the machine again, although I have not tried this time. I guess I am just going to have to make due with the regular vacuum. I feel bad for all the people I recommended it to who subsequently purchased a Neato. I really thought this was going to be a huge help to me at first. Sadly, it was only so for a short time.
