Please note that the original drainage pipe is not designed to handle the water volume from these machines. It will need to be upgraded to a larger diameter pipe, rather than being drilled, as you might do when installing a dishwasher in this position. A dishwasher typically pumps out about 11 liters of water for an entire cycle, whereas a front-load washing machine removes approximately 61 litres of water due to its larger pump mechanism.
