Such a lovely piece of equipment. I’ve had new floors laid and needed a floorhead upgrade to protect the new floors. It’s magnificent. Soft brush is perfect.

I have only used the new head once, but am impressed with it so far. Besides being very manoeuvrable it is lightweight, which is a nice change from the old AllTeQ head I was previously using (which was so worn the metal was scraping on the lino - hence the need for the new one)

Bought the C2 Mile vacuum with this head but it’s problematic. When the brush is up in the carpet position, the red thread catchers are the lowest point. As a result the new pure wool loop carpet is felting/ pilling. Not a good look. The previous floor attachment was better. Have spoken to Miele regarding this issue but they no longer stock the 285 series floor head and have no solution for me, sadly.
