Have used the portable input because this is variable from the tv, and the tv sound can be left unmuted. The tv remote increases the sound from both units at once. The trouble with using this input is that it won't fire up with the tv, and the whole unit shuts down every six hours! The paragraphs describing this in the manual are garbage, and it needs re-writing. Why does it need to shut down every six hours? It doesn't save any power because you just simply switch it on again. I find the optical inputs sounds like an echo and you have to mess about muting the tv. The build quality seems excellent, so why have these crack-pot features?

Can I get replacement parts for it - I tried the LG spare parts outlets in Europe, but they don't have it. The P/N is EBR76798401 PC Board-Power Supply-Sub. I am willing to buy a whole new SUBWOOFER if parts are no longer available. From anywhere in Europe (preferably EU).

I lost the remote control, anybody knows the model no. Of the remote or from where to buy in USA.
