I was excited to finally invest in a Kenwood Chef with Mum having loved hers all through my childhood. It is probably one of the most disappointing purchases I have made. Despite looking good, the machines have become very plastic and cheap feeling. It rocks like crazy on even the lowest setting, is quite noisy (and not the sturdy robust kinda of noise of Mum’s) and has already had the scales replaced due to arriving faulty. Sadly, Capitalism’s relentless imperative to ‘improve’ our products seems to have done more for Kenwood’s bottom line than the product itself. Wishing I had brought the KitchenAid like my Girlfriend said. ….

i have had my mixer for about a month, I have used it twice and am very happy with the way it works and the end results.

Exactly what I was expecting. An absolute MUST HAVE if you are a baked goods and patisserie lover
