Waiting for parts to be fitted hopefully soon fridge temperature too high

Just had our first one replaced. The first one was not able to maintain satisfactory temperatures. The technician blamed a slow coolant leak. Electrolux/Kelvinator wanted to haul it back to the factory, but to their credit agreed to a replacement. The brand new replacement fridge is even worse. Struggling to keep the fridgerator area to 6-8 degrees, and ice cream is soft. I have tried adjusting the temperature controls systematically, over several days, but they have little/no effect. Other reviews have people replacing this model several times before they give up on the model (and probably the Kelvinator brand in general). I suspect Electrolux/Kelvinator knows this model is a lemon, by design. I don’t understand why they don’t withdraw it from the market completely. Sad because the cabinetry and shelves are great. But the cooling system and controls are just not fit for purpose. Buy something else.

The great things..... excellent size, no frills, great solid shelves. Love my fridge the size is great it’s tough, it’s easy to clean and when it works ...,awesome!! The bad... 3 years ago 3 fans not cooling. All good. Had extended warranty, and Electrolux has excellent after sales service and replaced fans then replaced fridge. loan fridge offered, not needed new off the container and happy as. But.... We are now waiting for the 4th new fridge since 1st October 2022. (5 weeks) (I did wait a good week before ringing customer service on the last one, let it adjust and settle, turn off and reset, tried it all, I really wanted it to work) adjusting temp wait 24 hrs, put ice in freezer, items in fridge but not too much......The fridge is not cooling under 4.8 c. And -10 in freezer we have tried glass water 2nd shelf, top shelf, and door with perm thermometre so we can get good average temp over 24 hrs or more, the temp will fluctuate inside fridge. If you have just purchased just check your temp. I am frustrated I really like this fridge. I cannot fault customer service the tech James is very thorough, the delivery guys are awesome, I just want cold milk and frozen ice cream.
