    Oh how I loathe thee! Let me count thy ways... 1. The 12 minute cycle is pretty useless. 2. The next shortest cycle is 1 hour, but you're only supposed to put 4kg of washing in. What's the point in having a 9kg machine if you can only half fill it??? 3. All the other cycles are interminably long. 4. According to the manual, the 1 hour cycle is supposed to detect when there is 2kg or less of washing in the drum and automatically adjust to a 30min cycle. This has never happened for me, even when I put just 3 or 4 tea towels in the machine!!! 5. The temperature is automatically set on 60 degrees, which is not only a waste of energy but can have disastrous results. I once forgot to turn the temperature down and the colours ran and ruined some of my favourite clothes!! 6. The touchscreen is not very touchy. You need to tap in just the right spot with just the right amount of pressure for just the right amount of time in order for it to work. My husband and kids find it so frustrating they don't want to help with the washing anymore!! Big downside. 7. My clothes do not come out as clean and fresh as they did in my previous machine (Fisher and Pykel, 8.5kg. Similar price point). The other day I did a load of whites and they ALL came out with bright yellowish-green marks on them!! Had to soak everything in napisan and wash again. Not happy. 8. I get lint transfer when washing towels and clothing together- which I have always done yet it's never caused a problem with previous machines! My whites also come out with dark lint even though they've been stored and washed seperately. 9. I had high hopes for the "very quiet" inverter motor. It really isn't much quieter than my previous machine. The whole house still shakes when it's on spin cycle. 10. The drum smells bad - ever since day 1 - and despite always leaving the door open when not in use. Needless to say, I regret buying this machine and wish I had bought another Fisher and Pykel instead. It was much better value for money. The 2 stars are for good looks and because it hasn't actually broken down yet. Wish it would.

    Disappointed
    I am disappointed the machine only has one daily cycle of 1 hour (although it is a 9kg machine you can only wash 4kg of dry clothes in that cycle, so I had to weigh my dirty laundry to make sure I don’t overload the machine) all other cycles go for hours therefore I’m not using those as its not practical to wait a couple of hours for a load of washing to finish. It does not turn itself off at end of cycle (it just continues to flash “end”) & it has no memory of its last cycle so to be able to put on your next load you need to turn it to the “off” position & then put it back to the same cycle you just used to be able to start the next wash & you must always remember to change the water temperature manually to a cold wash, otherwise it will wash at 60degrees. I feel I spent a lot of money for a machine that isn’t what I hoped it would be. On a good note, its very quiet, has a large door & good size drum but overall too much money for a machine that I only use for basic daily washes.

This washer is able to be freestanding or placed under a benchtop again check the dimensions of the space please make sure you have a gap between the machine and the cupboards around give your self at least 10mm all the way around.
