We upgraded to this from an old stainless steel (non-Electrolux) unit and this one is really good. I'm using it on natural gas (not LPG). Pros: - It looks great (from a distance) - The auto gas cutoff is great (for if the flame burns out) - You can lower the flame to the lowest setting and it won't blow out easily. Cons - Holding down the buttons for a long time waiting for the sensor to heat up so the auto flame blowout doesn't trigger, is a bit annoying. - Most of the burners knobs are most sensitive from 0-50%, but have little difference in flame height from 50% to 100%. - Once you're finished cooking the glass surface is extremely burning hot and will take a while to cool down. This can be a safety issue if you have kids touching it. - I couldn't find anything saying if the cast iron removable frame is dishwasher safe. This is not a deal breaker but it doesn't cost anything to provide clarity. - Yes the glass is hard to "clean". What happens is, whatever you wipe it with (wet or dry), it will leave a cloudy rainbow film on the surface that changes on every wipe and never goes away. This is not a deal breaker. - Also, the glass surface sits on top of a metal surface which then has a foam seal between it and your counter. As a result the glass sits quite proud a few mm high off the surface of the counter, which is a little annoying. I suspect that foam seal is not going to be very strong against a big spill for whatever is underneath, but I think they did it this way so that nothing will go between the metal and the glass portion. Still, I'm happy with it because it's better than what we had before.

I’ve had this gas hot plate for about 9 months not used it a lot since Cov19 have use it heaps. The wok burner is to close to the bobs causing extreme heat, I had to cover it with a tea towel so it wasn’t so hot to touch. You couldn’t go outside and leave it as would be dangerous with the heat. Very dissatisfying as it’s a beautiful hot plate.

I bought last month... nice... but the knobs get too hot....
