    Overview

    Gas Cooktop Installation 1hr - 1.5hr

    Before every Winning Services installation, our team will check the area for existing damage and make sure the new appliance’s dimensions are correct to fit into the existing space.

    We will:

    • Deliver cooktop
    • Isolate gas at valve and test to make sure it is off
    • Remove and disconnect old cooktop
    • Clean area
    • Install new cooktop
    • Secure cooktop in place with fixing brackets if supplied
    • Turn gas back on to oven and test all functions are working
    • Check for any gas leaks
    • Show customer how to use the cooktop
    • Remove all rubbish and clean area

    In Queensland and Victoria, we can only legally install a gas appliance if your existing gas plumbing meets local gas regulations. We are able to bring your plumbing work up to standard, however extra charges will apply. Depending on the level of work required, an additional installation date may also need to be booked.

    Swap-overs of appliances that are like-for-like in size and requirements are included as part of every Winning Services installation. However, if extra work needs to be done, extra charges will apply.

    Extra works include:

    • Installing new power points (From $199)
    • Installing complete new power circuits (TBQ)
    • Installing new stainless steel surrounds for ovens and cooktops (From $275)
    • Installing timber and stainless steel panels (TBQ)
    • Cutting timber benches and oven surrounds (from $150)
    • Cutting stainless steel benches (from $350)
    • Adding new gas points (TBQ)
    • Converting natural gas over to LPG (From $220) (Not available in VIC)

We feel that our delivery and appliances connection packages provide great value for money as well as time-saving convenience. Our one stop service will have your new gas cooktop delivered and fully functioning with minimum fuss.


    You can purchase our gas cooktop connection service when you buy your gas cooktop*.Connection will be carried out by a trained, licensed and fully insured plumber. Connection will take place at the time of delivery.


    Please note that an existing gas line must be ready for use in order for connection to be carried out. If there is not an existing gas line or you require a line conversion from electricity to gas please contact us on 1300 000 500 to arrange a quote.


    We will deliver and unpack your new gas cooktop and remove the packaging. We will disconnect your old gas cooktop from the cabinetry and can take it away for recycling.


    *Please set your delivery location to determine the price of connection in your area. Existing gas and electrical power supplies are required for connection. Where additional cabinetry work, parts & labour are necessary e.g. extra cabling needs to be run, etc. further charges will apply.

    Good Evening, Thank you for this product question, this is possible the fee on our website is for a like-for-like installation that does not cover any extra cutting, if this is a stone benchtop this will need to be cut by a stone mason and then the gas plumber will be able to complete this installation. If you are not sure best to chat with our internal sales team who are available 24/7 in our Sydney call centre to arrange for an onsite inspection this will carry a small fee for this service and when you decide to have the installation done by our team the quotation fee will be deducted from the overall total.
