    Overview

    Electric Cooktop Installation 30mins - 1hr

    Before every Winning Services installation, our team will check the area for existing damage and make sure the new appliance’s dimensions are correct to fit into the existing space.

    We will:

    • Deliver cooktop
    • Isolate oven power and test to make sure it is off
    • Remove and disconnect old cooktop
    • Clean area
    • Install new cooktop
    • Secure cooktop in place with fixing brackets if supplied
    • Reset power to cooktop and test all functions are working
    • Show customer how to use the cooktop
    • Remove all rubbish and clean area

    Swap-overs of appliances that are like-for-like in size and requirements are included as part of every Winning Services installation. However, if extra work needs to be done, extra charges will apply.

    Extra works include:

    • Installing new power points (From $199)
    • Installing complete new power circuits (TBQ)
    • Installing new stainless steel surrounds for ovens and cooktops (From $275)
    • Installing timber and stainless steel panels (TBQ)
    • Cutting timber benches and oven surrounds (from $150)
    • Cutting stainless steel benches (from $350)

    Winning Services will finalise the prices of any extra work for sign-off before the installation is commenced. If you think your installation may not be a straightforward one, please contact us on 1300 000 500 to organise a quote.

We feel that our delivery and appliance connection packages provide great value for money as well as time-saving convenience. Our one stop service will have your new electrical cooktop delivered and fully functioning with minimum fuss.


    You can purchase our electrical cooktop connection service when you buy your electrical cooktop*.


    Connection will be carried out by a trained, licensed and fully insured electrician. Connection will take place at the time of delivery.


    We will deliver and unpack your new electrical cooktop and remove the packaging. We will disconnect your old electrical cooktop from the cabinetry and can take it away for recycling.


    Please do not attempt to disconnect hard wired electrical appliances - if you have paid for installation our electrician will disconnect the appliance for you.


    *Please set your delivery location to determine the price of connection in your area. This price is for regular connections only. Existing power is required for connection. Where additional cabinetry work, parts & labour are necessary e.g. extra cabling needs to be run, etc. further charges will apply.

    Hello Thank you for this product question, if you have had a gas cooktop in place before and connected to power that operated the spark ignition only the answer maybe no, I notice there is no mention of a model number that you have in mind that you are wanting to upgrade with attached, so i take it you are viewing a model that requires more power than a standard 10 amp power point. It will depend on the model of the new cooktop, how much power is required to operate the new cooktop for example if the new cooktop has a total load of more than 2.4Kw you will need a separate cable from your switchboard to the cooktop location, also if the new cooktop will fit the cut hole space from the old cooktop or will the benchtop need to be modified. Best to select a cooktop that will suit your needs, then call our internal sales team and arrange an onsite quote to be done.     What is the cost of installation by electrician of a 60 cm induction cooktop - there is an existing cut out of required size and I live 5041. Thanks Annie · 2024-04-18
    Hi Annie, we unfortunately do not offer installation in SA at the moment. You would need to contact a local electrician to organise a quote (there may also need to be an upgrade done to support the higher energy requirement for induction if moving from a standard electric cooktop, or other work if moving from gas).
