    For long, slow cooking with unprecedented style, it’s hard to go past the French finesse of Chasseur’s enamelled cast-iron cookware. The 26cm Classique Round French Oven will create prime conditions for your roasts, stews, and casseroles.

    Each piece of Chasseur cookware is hand-cast in individual sand moulds, and each mould is destroyed after casting, so you know you’re purchasing a unique product made with pride and love. The coloured enamel is also applied manually, and all pieces are moulded to optimal gauge to ensure unrivalled heat distribution and retention. The weight of the lid will provide the perfect seal, with the added benefit of internal self-basting rings to promote the reabsorption. The French Oven is suitable for all heat sources, whether that’s a bed of coal or a ceramic induction cooktop. It is also oven-safe up to 220°C.

    Hand-cast magnificence

    Each piece of cast-iron cookware from Chasseur is hand-cast using an individual sand mould. When the construction is complete, the mould is destroyed. By using a fresh mould each time, Chasseur ensures everything is in proportion.

    Manual enamelling

    The eye-catching enamelling is done by hand, one piece at a time, by a team of experts. With finishes such as Duck Egg Blue, Caviar, and Inferno Red, you’ll find a piece of Chasseur cookware to complement the other elements in your kitchen.

    Self-basting lid

    The weight of the lid creates the perfect seal for your ingredients. What’s more, the underside of the lid contains self-basting rings to help your food reabsorb moisture, unlock more flavours, and keep heat evenly distributed.

    Rust is coming through the inside base. I havent don anything about it but its been at least 3 years noe Ive owned it. I am dissapointed as i thought it was a supier product. Is it covered by warranty I'm not sure.

    Chassuer never disappoints
    So happy to invest in this quality piece of cookware. It takes your cooking to another level. It is the only pot I will cook risotto in. It looks beautiful sitting permanently on my cook top. Couldn’t be happier with the price too - managed to get it at a very reduced price, guess my timing was lucky.
