    • Detachable magnetic drip tray height options: drip tray can easily be removed to accommodate different sizes of cups and bottles. The magnetic edge helps to keep the tray in place.
    • Applicable Water Source: municipal tap water 5°C - 40°C.
    • BPA Free Materials: all parts that come into direct contact with water are made of BPA Free* materials. *based on Breville’s independent laboratory testing.
    • Control Panel: Function dial, Start/Stop and Hot water button.
    • Descale alert: appears on the screen every 6 months as a reminder to descale the machine.
    • Filter Life Counter: Smart alerts for optimal filtration performance; filter replacement every 90 days or approximately 200L of water, whichever comes first.
    • One-way Water Tank Valve: designed with a one-way valve so that it can be removed from the purifier even if water is still in the tank.
    • Water Level Sensor: the water tank is equipped with a floating sensor which will automatically stop dispensing when the water level becomes too low and the Fill Tank indicator will illuminate.

    Hot water no longer works. Constantly asks for descale every month.
    I own a few Breville products and am happy with those, but this one was just expensive and trash. This thing was not working properly from day 1. It was unreliable so I didn't end up using it much. You press Hot, the LED turns red but then it dispenses ambient water, I try again, and it usually works the 2nd time. If there was a way to check how much hot water it has dispensed in the last 12 months you'd find that it hasn't even done 20L. It's now over a year old and the hot water function no longer works, even though the LED turns red. it doesn't dispense hot water no matter how many times I try. And while it was working, it constantly asks to get descale every month. This is like printers, they make money from selling you descale kits or something. Waste of money. Got a cheap machine from another brand and that works great without any fuss.

    Useless instructions
    The Aquastation is great until you need to clean it. Descaling is a night mare the instruction in the book are a little bit below useless. Also the measurement for water delivery are set at increments of 50mls so you are either getting to much or to little hot water and it won't hold settings in custom. Other than these small problems the aquastation is a handy and useful appliance.
