Happy with the user experience so far. Easy to wash after each use. Only been using less than a month, but battery seem to be holding up well. Functional pouch for travel too.

The shaver does a really good job of my daily shaving. It is very quiet and my wife can't even hear that I am shaving. The blades are so smooth and I don't even feel the shaver going onto my skin. It is easy to clean under the running tap after each shave. I love the long battery life. I have only charged it once since I starting using it a month ago. Real value for money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, love the packaging. The shaver feels right to hold in the hand, especially the back non-slip material. Very easy to dismantle with a quick pull for cleaning the shaver head unit and another pull for the blades - very important if you shave daily like me. Dry Shaving: The instructions says to let your skin get accustomed to the circular blade movement first but I actually find them quite pleasing on the first go. I find that a slight rocking movement would do the job instead of the elaborate circles as described in the manual. Overall, the shave left a nice feel on the face and a good clean job. Wet Shave: This is where it gets interesting! This is a luxury that previously had to give way to the convenience of an electric shaver but not anymore. Not only was I able to do a wet shave over the sink, with cream and all, i was also able to wash my face in the shower and shave inside it at the same time as the unit is also waterproof! (haha, I think most of us guys multitask in the shower a lot!) This feature was what got me at "Hello" and it delivered as promised. As with wet shaves, coupled with the rotating blades, the faces ends up tingling fresh and clean. Now to the Cons. It would be nice to be able to fit the trimmer into something. The shaver has a carrier container. That's nice. Now, where to i fit the trimmer so it does gets squashed and, god forbid, break! I'm also counting the days to when I will be losing the 'red bit' for opening the blades for replacement... *sic*. I packed them all now in one of my numerous toiletry bag collected of the years but it would have been nice to have one custom made by Philips. Although opening the unit for cleaning was a breeze, the cleaning process needs to be a bit delicate. On my first attempt to clean the blades, I flung it away whilst shaking off the water.. haha, I supposed that is why Philips introduced the SmartClean System for this... hmm, but where can I buy this. The Series 9000 shaver is a definitely must have for anyone hoping for a clean shave accompanied by a good old wet cream shave, and being able to do it all whilst in the shower is definitely a plus plus! That in itself should have merited me giving a a 5* rating here but then the Philips engineers wouldn't have anything else to do :-)
