Pyrolytic Ovens

Not only is a pyrolytic oven a convenient kitchen appliance for baking and roasting, but it can save you time and effort when it comes to cleaning your kitchen. While pyrolytic ovens are often called 'self-cleaning' they won't do the full suite of oven cleaning for you, but they will take care of most of the work.

At Appliances Online, there's a range of pyrolytic built-in wall ovens and freestanding ovens from top brands including Smeg, Westinghouse, Fisher & Paykel, Ilve, Asko, and Neff.

How do pyrolytic ovens work?

Special pyrolytic panels are installed in the sides and base of each oven's cavity. When you activate the pyrolytic cleaning function, these panels heat up to extremely high temperatures (500°C or more), reducing any grease splashes, grime, or food residue into ash, which can be quickly and simply swept away once the pyrolytic cleaning cycle has finished. This reduces your reliance on harsh chemicals when cleaning your oven, and lets you spend more time cooking and less time cleaning.

If you want an oven with a larger capacity and greater cooking versatility, consider a Pyrolytic Double Oven, from brands such as Smeg and Bosch.

With steam ovens, electric ovens, and dual fuel ovens you can find an oven fuel type to suit your cooking style.

If you want to explore the wider range of ovens at Appliances Online, we have an expansive selection of Single Ovens, Double Ovens, Steam Ovens, and Compact Ovens.

You will need an electrician to instal your pyrolytic oven - or any other electric oven. You can arrange this yourself, or to make it easier, just add Electric Oven Installation to your cart when ordering with Appliances Online. Here's everything you need to know about getting ovens installed.
