It all started off well! Easy to use and made great tasting toasties. However after a couple of weeks of use the non stick coating washed off and now it's a real pain to use with every sandwich sticking. I want to love this toaster but feel the quality disappeared too quickly.

The first one was used only a few times and the coating came off persevered but it got unusable and made a claim. The second one has started to loose its coating after some 6 to10 uses I fairness it was a manufacturing fault, to start with it performed well.

Surprised that Breville put their name on this. Worst Breville product I have come across. The issue is cleaning. The triangular shape and ridges makes it difficult to get into the corners. Non stick is never non stick. Burnt residue remains, and black on black almost impossible to see. The plates are not removable, but there are joins, and guess where the dirt collects . The cooking plates should be removable so they can go in the dishwasher .
