Love this electric kettle!! Not only for the choice of beautiful colours, but because it's so reliable and well designed to handle with ease. The best I've used over many decades.

Bought this a few weeks ago as our existing kettle was leaking though the side-view window. The Soft Top Luxe is a nice upgrade, but like other reviewers have noted, it is a little on the noisy side. The colour is pleasant and fits in well with our kitchen and it looks quite modern and timeless. I am a little apprehensive about the single mounting point for the handle, opposed to a two point fixed handle. Time will tell as to how well the single-point holds up to use and if/when it fails... Again, like others have noted, the side-view window is abysmal and you can't see the water level well at all. I'm sure the designers could do better. The chime is a little pointless, but I guess a reminder of when the kettle is at peak boil if you walk away. Overall a nice upgrade to what we had. Just a shame there are some evident design flaws which could be addressed.
