All things cooking, cleaning, chilling and more for the hard-working heart of your home.

Integrated fridges are designed to sit behind custom cabinetry panels so they blend into your kitchen rather than stand out like traditional freestanding fridges. For design-conscious homeowners, that streamlined look can help create a cleaner kitchen aesthetic and even make the space feel larger and less cluttered. Keep in mind, though, that you will need to arrange for a cabinetmaker to make fridge door panels that match your kitchen’s cabinetry. Integrated fridges come with 'unfinished' door exteriors and built-in bracket or rail fixings for attaching custom panels to.
Integrated refrigeration comes in a range of sizes and styles, including bottom mount, top mount and French door designs. Whether you want a family-sized model or a more compact built-in fridge for an apartment or small kitchen, there’s plenty of choice out there. If you find that choice overwhelming, a great place to look for inspiration is with the integrated fridges that fellow Aussies have been incorporating into their kitchen redesigns. Here are five of the most popular integrated fridges with our customers in 2026.

Type: Bottom mount fridges dominate this list, with four of the five models. The only larger-format option here is the Fisher & Paykel French door refrigerator.
Capacity: There is a clear spread of sizes, from compact 241L integrated fridge freezer models through to the 476L Fisher & Paykel. It’s worth noting that the largest integrated fridges do not have as high a capacity as the largest freestanding fridges on the market, because they are restricted by typical cabinetry dimensions.
Brands: Four brands feature on the list: Miele, Liebherr, Artusi and Fisher & Paykel. Artusi is the best-represented brand with two models.
Energy efficiency: Energy ratings range from 3 stars to 5.5 stars. Keep in mind that fridge star ratings compare appliances against other fridges of similar size and type, so a larger integrated French door fridge may have a lower rating than a smaller built-in fridge while still being reasonably efficient for its capacity.
Design features: Most of these integrated refrigerators include adjustable glass shelf storage, frost free operation and electronic temperature controls. Premium models add extras such as Wi-Fi, dual cooling systems, humidity-controlled crisper drawers and specialist storage zones.
The cabinetry-covered nature of integrated fridges means that you won’t find the external water dispensers and ice makers commonly found in similarly priced freestanding fridges.
Warranty: Most models offer a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. The standout is Liebherr, with a longer 5-year warranty for added peace of mind.
Price: The price brackets are in relation only to the other fridges on this list. Higher priced models are available, but these options are the best sellers. Also keep in mind that price is partly related to capacity as well as features, so should be viewed in comparison to similarly sized models.
On this list, one model falls into the $ bracket (under $2,500), three are in the $$ bracket ($2,500-$5,000) and one model sits in the high end $$$ bracket (over $5,000).
