Size/volume: The most common capacity range is 400-450L, with five models falling into this sweet spot for average Australian households. The list also includes a compact 231L option ideal for smaller spaces, mid-range models between 300-400L, and larger family-sized units reaching 496L and 503L.
Looking at the breakdown, the 400-450L models typically offer around 280-320L of fresh food storage and 110-135L of freezer capacity. The largest model (Hisense 503L, #7) provides 354L of fridge space and 149L freezer space, while the compact CHiQ 231L (#3) offers 161L and 70L respectively.
