This shaver produces a squeaky noise when first turned on. Its present in all the later models but not the earlier ones. I've tried showroom samples and the squeak sounds louder in those. I'm worried something in there is not operating smoothly and would get worn out with continuous use.

Good looking products with normal function. Maybe its not the high end product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] (A) first impression: -very solid packaging -length of packaging gives the assumption that the product will just fit nicely into hand (B) Packaging: -sturdy box with sharp fonts and clear illustrations accentuating every feature advertised -most parts of the packaging recyclable, except the expanded polyethylene foam wrapping the shaver (C) Unboxing: -single tape seal on top of box -box opens like a book, pretty nifty -precision trimmer and adapter stored in a secluded compartment, however easy to find with symbols denoted over the compartment access flap -no symbols or description regarding the retaining ring holder, had me wondering what it was (D) the product itself -very light handheld shaver -ergonomic design with well fitted grooves to be held by the hand -on/off switch is of push button type - battery indicator lights up the moment the shaver is turned on -shaver makes a small amount of noise, however it drowns out the ambient noise -sleek yet stable body, does not roll off when put on flat surface (E) accessories: -travel adapter: wire measure 1.5m in length -precision trimmer: storable with the shaver in the travel case -travel case: compact and sturdy clamshell -retaining ring holder: after studying the manual, found out it is a vital piece for replacing shaving heads (F) setup: - shaver requires only an hour of charge, then it's good to shave (G) shaving experience: -1st day shaving was tedious -shaver was unable to shave off any facial hair 5mm or more - facial hair at 3mm require a few rounds of mowing -shaver works aptly for facial hair less than 3mm -pivoting as amazing, however had moderate difficulty around the jawline angles -glided safely over pimples, did not experience any nicks or bleed -works better in the shower compared with dry shaving -cleaning the hair chamber was wee bit challenging as the shaver head holder was hard to pull off, requiring to push all 3 release buttons at once
