I’m expecting this series 9000 to have a very sharp and smooth shave compared to my previous. Unfortunately it is quite the same. I couldn’t get the feel of super clean shave even though it is on my cheeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first time my partner used an electric shaver so he was unsure how the experience would be. Upon unboxing, the presentation of the shaver with the shaver in a sleek travel pouch and its individual components looked rather exclusive, what with the Grooming Club Membership Card! Nevertheless, after a close look at the manual and its components, we were disappointed that there was no docking station with the SmartClean system in the box or part of the delivered product as shown in the manual. This made us rather confused if it was supposed to be part of the product or an added on accessory as the manual did not specify otherwise. So, we are unsure how to clean the product properly now as shown in the manual. It would be amazing if a sales personnel could help us clarify this matter. A part from this, in terms of use, my partner was surprised how easy it was to use it. His verdict; he really likes the V-Track PRO Precision Blade System which enables close shave, following the contour of his face. I would have to attest that upon shaving, his skin was very smooth unlike how it was previously with normal shavers whereby there were still stubble. And being 100% waterproof with the Aquatec technology on this Series 9000, my partner was able to choose his preferred shaving method either wet or dry effortlessly without worry. With the SmartClick system, it was also easy to change the shaving head to the precision trimmer which really took care of his sideburns. This product is really useful as my partner shaves daily and it will definitely alter his shaving experience tremendously. No going back to normal shavers for sure! Other than the hiccup with the docking station, the shaver itself deserves an all round 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the product on 5/7. Immediately started using the next day. Actually I am also using another Philips shaver but different model. Once you on the device, it gives a short (jolt) before being smooth. But this is a non-issue. Initial usage for the first few days needs a bit getting used to compared to my current shaver. It does shave cleanly but takes a few more rounds. After those few days, then when I start getting used to the heads, it becomes very friendly to use. To be honest, I already kept my other shaver and have been using this model Everyday. Overall experience is satisfactory and this device looks much better than my old one. Already told my close friends about this.
