    Nice unit
This unit is lightweight. Easy to change cutting head types. Easy to clean.

    The closest shave!
I have never bought a shaver that shaves this well. When I shave with the Philips Aqua Touch I get a better shave than with a blade. This shaver shaves very close because it fits all the curves in your face because the flexible head gets every bit of beard I have.

    Excellent shaver
Replaced a [well known competitor brand shaver] that was starting to die. The shave (I generally shave using gel in the shower - avoids bristles in the basin, although when travelling I tend to use oil) is definitely almost as close as a blade. Not quite, but pretty good and better even than the previous shaver when it was new. Any closer - for me - and I'd be concerned about skin rashes. It's quiet, light, and super easy to clean. Only issues would be: 1.) It has what looks to be a hair trapped under the cover where the battery charge display is - doesn't impact on performance, but looks weird. 2) The lack of a charging stand does mean you need space to lay the shaver down, and there is the risk it will fall off a shelf. A simple plastic stand (not one of those cleaning things) that the charger could plug into would not have cost a lot to include. As an aside, is there anyone else out there who would love these sorts of things to use a standard usb socket for charging to reduce the number of power packs scattered around their home? The travel case is nice and solid, although possibly bigger than it needed to be - I have a toiletry bag that I'd probably rather use, although the lack of a plastic cap to protect the head will mean I'll probably use the case. It would have been nice to have a cap included - probably would have cost less than two cents to do... For those who are not used to these sorts of shavers (ie rotary), there is a knack to using them - applying a little pressure when using (not too much as you then risk razor burn and/or ingrown hairs), use a rotating motion on the face rather than up/down, stretching the top lip down to get to the bristles just below the nose..... but once you work out how to do it you should get a good result. I haven't used the clip on trimmer - I have a separate dedicated trimmer so maybe might just throw that in the travel case for trips. Assuming it works, then I like the fact that the lack of the trimmer on the unit itself would make it a little smaller/neater. A few people have also mentioned that the buttons are easy to press accidentally - I hold the shaver by the sides, so haven't had any issue with that. Overall, am happy with my purchase. t's not the cheapest shaver out there, but it's also definitely not the most expensive. Time will tell if it will last as well as my old shaver, but so far so good.
