Connecting directly to your car battery, the Smartbox Wiring Kit is designed to provide continuous power to support the MiVUE Dash Cam parking mode feature when the engine is off. Designed to keep your Dash Cam powered up and surveilling your surroundings while parked, the Smartbox will prevent your battery from becoming completely drained. This is achieved through shutting off recording after a preset time or when the car battery voltage is detected dropping below a certain rating.
